Thomas Howard is one of the main characters and antagonists of the Tudor Series. He appears in the Constant Princess, the Other Boleyn girl and the Boleyn Inheritance.

Norfolk's role in the movie is a small one compared to his role in the novel. His first appearance is at the Boleyn family meeting about Mary becaming the King's mistress.
Thomas' next appearance is at the family meeting about Anne's betrothal and bedding of Henry Percy . They deicide to renounce the bethroal and banish Anne to Hever Castle.
The Other Boleyn Girl (2008)[]
Thomas Howard's first appearance in The Other Boleyn Girl is at King Henry VIII's court where he witnesses the King receiving the news that The Queen delivered another still born. Upon hearing this, he decides to go to Hever castle where his niece Mary Boleyn is celebrating her wedding day. He arrives at the wedding celebrations and greets his sister Elizabeth. Later in the day Thomas sits with his brother-in-law Thomas Boleyn and tells him about the troubles within the royal marriage and the likelihood of the king taking a mistress. Thomas suggests one of the Boleyn girls should be the king's mistress to further the family's fortunes and influence. Boleyn suggests that his daughter Anne Boleyn should be chosen.They summon Anne and offer her the chance to be the king's mistress. Initially she is appalled but she quickly agrees when she sees the benefits of being a royal mistress. With Anne's consent, Thomas invites The King to stay at Hever castle for two nights in hopes that Anne can charm him during his stay. When the king does arrive at Hever, Anne is introduced to him and is sat besides him at the dinner table where they make small talk under Thomas Howard's intense observation. The next day the guests and courtiers go for a hunt and Anne leads the hunt eager to please the king. Norfolk, Elizabeth, Mary and thomas wait anxiously as the hunt goes on longer than expected.
